Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground lamb
  • 0.5 cup Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 0.5 cup Red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, feta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, red onion, garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until all ingredients are evenly combined, but do not overmix to avoid tough meatballs.

Step 3

Using your hands or a small scoop, form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.

Step 4

Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil to help them brown and stay moist while baking.

Step 5

Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned on the outside and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F or 70°C).

Step 6

Remove the meatballs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Step 7

Serve warm with tzatziki sauce, pita bread, or a side salad for a full Mediterranean-inspired meal.
