Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, dried cranberries or raisins, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the honey, peanut butter, and brown sugar until the mixture becomes smooth and fully combined. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
