Ingredients

  • 2 16.3-ounce cans Refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Pecans (optional)
  • 1 as needed Non-stick cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a bundt or tube pan with non-stick cooking spray, ensuring it is well-coated.

Step 2

Cut the cream cheese into 20 equal-sized cubes and set aside.

Step 3

In a small mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to make the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Step 4

Open the biscuit cans and separate the dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly in your palm.

Step 5

Place one cube of cream cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit, then fold the edges of the dough around the cream cheese and pinch to seal. Roll the sealed biscuit into a ball.

Step 6

Roll each dough ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated and place the balls in the bundt pan. If using pecans, sprinkle them in between layers of dough balls.

Step 7

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and stir in the brown sugar until completely dissolved. Do not let it boil.

Step 8

Pour the brown sugar-butter mixture evenly over the dough balls in the pan.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until the dough is fully cooked and golden brown on top.

Step 10

Remove the pan from the oven and let the gorilla bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.

Step 11

Carefully invert the bread onto a serving plate and serve warm. Pull apart the pieces to enjoy the gooey, creamy goodness!
