Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups Gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Baking soda
  • 1.25 cups Water
  • 1 cup Warm water (110°F/45°C)
  • 3 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 0 Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let it stand for about 5 minutes until foamy.

Add the melted butter and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir in the gluten-free all-purpose flour gradually until a soft dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 5 minutes. The dough should be smooth and pliable.

Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a rope about 18 inches long. Cut each rope into 1-inch pieces to create the nuggets.
