  • 1 large, finely chopped Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 2 small, finely chopped Green chili
  • 2 tablespoons, finely chopped Fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon, finely chopped Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 large Egg

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine minced chicken or lamb, finely chopped onion, ginger paste, and garlic paste.

Step 2

Add finely chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, and mint leaves to the meat mixture.

Step 3

Season the mixture with ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly.

Step 4

Fold in gluten-free breadcrumbs and crack an egg into the mixture. Add lemon juice and mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Step 5

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 15 minutes. This helps to firm up the mixture and make it easier to handle.

Step 6

After refrigerating, take small portions of the mixture and shape them around skewers to form cylindrical kababs.

Step 7

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Place the skewered kababs into the pan.

Step 8

Cook the kababs, turning occasionally, for approximately 10-12 minutes or until they are evenly browned and cooked through.

Step 9

Ensure the internal temperature of the meat reaches at least 75°C (167°F) for safety.

Step 10

Serve hot with chutney, salad, or your choice of side.
