Ingredients

  • 250 grams Ground beef
  • 200 grams Gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Xanthan gum
  • 150 milliliters Water
  • 50 milliliters Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 Onion
  • 100 grams Frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 500 milliliters Oil for deep frying

Directions

Step 1

Start by preparing the dough. In a large bowl, mix the gluten-free all-purpose flour, xanthan gum, and salt.

Step 2

Gradually add 50 milliliters of vegetable oil, mixing gently to combine the ingredients until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

Step 3

Slowly add water into the mixture, kneading until a soft, smooth dough forms. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 30 minutes.

Step 4

For the filling, heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 teaspoon of oil. Add cumin seeds and stir until they crackle.

Step 5

Finely chop the onion and add it to the pan. Cook the onion until it's golden brown.

Step 6

Add ginger paste, garlic paste, ground beef, frozen peas, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook until the beef is cooked through and the peas are tender.

Step 7

Stir in lemon juice and chopped cilantro leaves. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool completely.

Step 8

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten it into a thin oval shape.

Step 9

Cut each oval in half to form two semicircles. Take one semicircle, roll it into a cone shape, and seal the edge with a little water.

Step 10

Fill the cone with about 1 tablespoon of the meat mixture, then seal the top edge with water to form a triangle.

Step 11

Repeat the method with the remaining dough and filling.

Step 12

Heat 500 milliliters of oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Carefully add the samosas and fry until golden brown and crispy.

Step 13

Remove the samosas with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
