Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Gluten-free hamburger buns
  • 500 grams Ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese, gluten-free
  • 4 leaves Lettuce leaves
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 1 small Onion
  • 4 tablespoons Gluten-free mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons Gluten-free ketchup
  • 8 slices Pickles

Directions

Step 1

Start by shaping the ground beef into four equal patties, each about 1/2 inch thick. Season both sides of each patty with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

Step 3

Once the skillet or grill is hot, place the beef patties on it. Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on the first side until nicely seared.

Step 4

Flip the patties and add one slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 4 to 5 minutes, or until the beef patty is cooked to your desired level of doneness and the cheese is melted.

Step 5

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato and onion into rings.

Step 6

Toast the gluten-free hamburger buns lightly either on the same grill or using a toaster.

Step 7

To assemble the burgers, spread 1 tablespoon of gluten-free mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun, followed by a tablespoon of gluten-free ketchup.

Step 8

Place a lettuce leaf on each bun bottom, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheese.

Step 9

Top each patty with tomato slices, onion rings, and two slices of pickles.

Step 10

Finish by placing the top half of the buns over the assembled burgers. Serve immediately and enjoy your gluten-free big tasty burger!
