Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons, grated Fresh ginger
  • 10 leaves Fresh mint leaves
  • 4 large, juiced Lemons
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 0.25 teaspoons Cayenne pepper
  • 4 cups Cold water
  • 2 cups Ice cubes
  • 4 slices, for garnish Lemon slices
  • 4 sprigs, for garnish Mint sprigs

Directions

Step 1

Peel and grate the fresh ginger. Place it in a small saucepan with 1 cup of cold water.

Step 2

Bring the ginger and water mixture to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it steep for 5 minutes. Strain and set aside to cool.

Step 3

In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, honey, and cayenne pepper. Stir until the honey dissolves completely.

Step 4

Add the cooled ginger-infused water to the pitcher, followed by the remaining 3 cups of cold water, and stir well.

Step 5
