Ingredients

  • 1 piece French baguette
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 large Garlic cloves
  • 2 cups Cherry tomatoes
  • 8 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Balsamic glaze (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick pieces, slightly on the diagonal for more surface area.

Place the bread slices onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Brush the tops lightly with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Toast the bread in the preheated oven for about 7-10 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Remove and set aside.
