Ingredients

  • 400 grams Pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 100 grams Sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil, drained and chopped)
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 60 milliliters Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons Red chili flakes
  • 120 milliliters Vegetable or chicken broth
  • 60 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 10 grams Fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 120 milliliters of pasta water and drain the rest.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
