Ingredients

  • 10 pieces Fresh jalapeños
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese
  • 3 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 0.5 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Wash the jalapeños, slice them in half lengthwise, and use a spoon to scrape out the seeds and membranes (wear gloves for safety if desired).

Step 3

Peel and mince the garlic cloves finely.

Step 4

In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced garlic, cheddar cheese, parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Step 5

Using a small spoon, carefully fill each jalapeño half with the garlic cream cheese mixture, leveling the top of the filling with the edge of the jalapeño.

Step 6

Arrange the stuffed jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet, hollow side up. Drizzle the tops lightly with olive oil.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the filling is golden and bubbly.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and let the stuffed jalapeños cool slightly before serving.

Step 9

Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired and serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
