Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 60 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 units garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 120 ml reserved pasta water

Directions

Step 1

Fill a large pot with water, add 1 tablespoon of salt, and bring it to a boil over high heat.

Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions, usually 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Reserve 120 ml of pasta water before draining.
