Ingredients

  • 1 lb Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz Linguine or spaghetti noodles
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 0.5 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine or spaghetti noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining, then set the noodles aside.

Step 2

While the pasta cooks, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
