Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Chicken breast
  • 12 pieces Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.5 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts with paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring frequently to avoid burning.

Step 4

Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are fully cooked. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the chicken.
