Ingredients

  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 6 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 2 pieces Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 120 ml Pasta water
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 120 ml of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.

While the pasta is cooking, peel and thinly slice the garlic cloves. Remove the rosemary leaves from the sprigs and finely chop them.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and chopped rosemary, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until the garlic is golden and fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
