Ingredients

  • 400 grams Fusilli pasta
  • 2 cups Fresh basil leaves
  • 0.25 cup Pine nuts
  • 2 large Garlic cloves
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.

Step 2

Add the fusilli pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes.

Step 3

While the pasta is cooking, prepare the pesto. In a food processor, combine the basil leaves, pine nuts, and garlic cloves. Pulse until all ingredients are finely chopped.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the food processor and pulse for a few seconds to combine.
