Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Black tea bags
  • 6 cups Water
  • 1 large Fresh orange
  • 1 large Fresh lemon
  • 1 cup Fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 6 leaves Mint leaves
  • 2 cups Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.

Step 2

Remove the saucepan from heat and steep the 4 black tea bags in the hot water for 5 minutes.

Step 3

While the tea is steeping, slice the orange and lemon into thin wheels. Hull and halve the strawberries.

Step 4

Remove the tea bags and stir in the 2 tablespoons of honey while the tea is still warm. Allow it to cool to room temperature.

Step 5

Fill a large pitcher with the sliced orange, lemon, strawberries, and mint leaves.

Step 6

Pour the cooled tea over the fruit and mint mixture in the pitcher.

Step 7

Refrigerate the tea for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to infuse.

Step 8

When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the fruit tea over the ice.

Step 9

Garnish with additional citrus slices or mint leaves if desired, and enjoy!
