  • 6 pieces Flour tortillas
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Refried beans
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream (optional)
  • 0.5 cup Salsa (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5 minutes.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 3 minutes, until the onion is translucent and fragrant.

Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly.

Warm the refried beans in a separate small pot or microwave until easily spreadable.
