  • 300 grams Fresh egg pasta (tagliatelle or fettuccine)
  • 200 grams Frozen or fresh peas
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 120 milliliters Heavy cream
  • 50 grams Grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Lemon zest (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Add the fresh pasta to the boiling water and cook for 2–3 minutes, or until tender but still firm to bite. If using dried pasta, follow the package instructions. Reserve 120 milliliters of pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
