  • 1.5 cups Graham cracker crumbs

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream, chilled

Directions

Step 1

Start by preparing the cherry filling. Pit and slice the cherries. In a medium saucepan, combine the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and the cherries soften, about 8-10 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool completely.

While the cherry filling cools, make the graham cracker crust. In a medium bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until evenly combined.

Press about two-thirds of the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking dish or individual serving glasses to form the base layer. Save the remaining third for topping.
