Ingredients

  • 200 grams Feta cheese
  • 100 grams Cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 1 clove Garlic clove
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 10 sheets Phyllo pastry sheets
  • 100 grams Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a medium mixing bowl, crumble the feta cheese finely with a fork.

Step 3

Add cream cheese to the bowl and mix until smooth and combined.

Step 4

Finely chop the fresh dill and parsley, then stir them into the cheese mixture along with the lemon zest.

Step 5

Mince the garlic clove and add it to the bowl, then season with black pepper. Mix to combine thoroughly and set aside.

Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, and stir in the olive oil.

Lay one phyllo sheet flat on a clean surface. Brush the entire sheet lightly with the melted butter mixture.

Place a second phyllo sheet directly on top of the first and brush again with butter.
