  • 12 pieces Lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound Ground beef

  • 2 teaspoons Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1.5 cups Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and lay them flat on a clean surface to prevent sticking.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

Add the ground beef and ground pork to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Finish with a final layer of noodles, topped with the remaining meat sauce and the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
