  • 450 grams fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves, minced

  • 60 grams sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 125 milliliters water

Directions

Step 1

Wash and trim the ends of the green beans. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together until the butter is fully melted and starts to bubble.

Add the minced garlic and sliced shallot to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are fragrant and slightly softened.
