Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 8 ounces Cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 0.75 cups Dry Marsala wine
  • 0.5 cups Chicken broth
  • 0.25 cups Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to about 1/4-inch thickness. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Dredge the chicken breasts in the all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess flour.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter and let it melt. Cook the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
