  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 16 ounces penne pasta
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Then, add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
