  • 0.5 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 beaten egg

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and a pinch of salt. Cut the cold butter into small cubes and add to the bowl.

Using a pastry cutter or your hands, mix the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
