Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 rolls) Crescent roll dough
  • 8 pieces Large marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.

Step 3

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles along the pre-cut perforations.

Step 4

Take one large marshmallow and dip it into the melted butter, coating it completely.

Step 5

Roll the buttered marshmallow in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to fully cover it.

Step 6

Place the coated marshmallow at the widest end of a crescent dough triangle. Carefully roll the dough around the marshmallow, tucking in the sides to seal all edges tightly. Make sure there are no gaps to prevent leakage during baking. Repeat for all 8 rolls.

Step 7

Arrange the filled rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.

Step 8

Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle a little cinnamon-sugar mixture over them for added flavor.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

Step 10

Remove the rolls from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving. The marshmallow will have melted inside, leaving an empty 'tomb' representation.

Step 11

Serve warm and enjoy this symbolic and tasty treat!
