Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 cup ketchup (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper.

Using clean hands, gently mix all the ingredients until just combined. Avoid over-mixing as it can make the meatloaf tough.
