Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti or linguine according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest. Set pasta aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter and olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
