Ingredients

  • 750 ml Red wine (preferably dry)
  • 240 ml Orange juice (freshly squeezed or store-bought)
  • 60 ml Brandy
  • 240 ml Soda water (or lemon-lime soda for sweeter version)
  • 1 whole Orange
  • 1 whole Lemon
  • 1 whole Lime
  • 1 whole Apple
  • 150 g Strawberries (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar or honey (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1 handful Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

Wash all fruits thoroughly to remove any dirt or wax coating.

Step 2

Slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds. Core and dice the apple into small cubes. Hull and slice the strawberries if using.

Step 3

In a large pitcher, add the sliced orange, lemon, lime, apple cubes, and strawberries.

Step 4

Pour the red wine, orange juice, and brandy over the fruits in the pitcher.

Step 5

If desired, stir in granulated sugar or honey to sweeten the sangria. Mix well until dissolved.
