Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

In a medium bowl, combine 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour and 0.25 cups of granulated sugar. Cut the 0.75 cups of cold unsalted butter into cubes and work it into the flour mixture using your hands or a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
