Ingredients

  • 3 medium Fresh peaches
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 6 cups Water
  • 1 cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • 0.5 cup Fresh peach slices (optional, for garnish)
  • 0.25 cup Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
  • 10 leaves Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Wash the peaches thoroughly. Cut them in half, remove the pits, and slice them into smaller chunks.

In a medium saucepan, combine the peach chunks, granulated sugar, and 1 cup of water. Heat the mixture over medium heat, and stir until the sugar dissolves and the peaches soften (about 8-10 minutes).
