Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 1.5 cups Whole milk
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Butter or oil (for greasing the pan)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt until combined.

Step 2

Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Step 3

Whisk the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes to allow the flour to hydrate.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the pan with a small amount of butter or oil using a paper towel to evenly coat the surface.

Step 5

Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the center of the pan and immediately swirl the pan to spread the batter into a thin, even layer.

Step 6

Cook the crepe for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the edges begin to lift and the bottom is lightly golden. Flip the crepe using a spatula and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute on the other side.

Step 7

Transfer the cooked crepe to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter, stacking the crepes as you go.

Step 8

Serve the crepes warm or at room temperature with your favorite fillings and toppings, such as Nutella, fresh fruit, whipped cream, or powdered sugar.
