Ingredients

  • 16 oz Frozen chopped spinach
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (melted, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Thaw the frozen chopped spinach by microwaving it or placing it in a colander and running warm water over it. Squeeze out as much excess water as possible using your hands or a clean kitchen towel.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended.

Step 4

Stir in the thawed and drained spinach, shredded mozzarella, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until evenly distributed.

Step 5

Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray or butter. Spoon the spinach mixture into the dish and spread it out evenly.

Step 6

If using breadcrumbs, in a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole for added crunch.

Step 7

Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbling around the edges.

Step 8

Allow the casserole to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
