Ingredients

  • 3 pieces large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with the milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Let it melt, coating the bottom of the skillet evenly.

Step 3

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to set.

Step 4

Using a spatula, gently lift the edges of the omelette and tilt the skillet so the uncooked egg in the middle flows to the edges.

Step 5

Once the omelette is almost fully set but still slightly soft on top, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese, parsley, and chives evenly over one half of the omelette.

Step 6

Carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the filling and let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Step 7

Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve immediately.
