  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 leaves Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • 4 cups Cooked pasta (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish and set aside.

Place the chicken breasts on a flat surface and, if needed, use a meat mallet to pound them to an even 1/2-inch thickness.

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
