Ingredients

  • 0.5 pound Ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Yellow onion, finely diced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dill pickle relish
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound Pre-made pizza dough
  • 1 large Egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is softened, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

Step 3

Season the beef mixture with salt and black pepper, then stir in the ketchup and dill pickle relish. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.

Step 4

Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface, approximately 12x16 inches.

Step 5

Spread the cooled beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Step 6

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.

Step 7

Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seams and ends to seal the roll.

Step 8

Place the log seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 9

Brush the beaten egg over the top and sides of the dough, then sprinkle with sesame seeds for a classic burger touch.

Step 10

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and fully cooked through.

Step 11

Allow the cheeseburger bread to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into thick pieces. Serve warm and enjoy!
