Ingredients

  • 4 large Russet potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 2

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry. Leave the skin on for a crispy texture. Cut each potato into wedges by slicing it in half lengthwise, then cutting each half into 3 to 4 wedges, depending on the size of the potato.

Step 3

Place the potato wedges in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle them with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.

Step 4

In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the potato wedges and toss again until the wedges are evenly coated.

Step 5

Arrange the seasoned potato wedges on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap for even cooking.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through baking to ensure both sides become golden and crispy.

Step 7

Optional: During the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the wedges, allowing it to melt and add extra flavor.

Step 8

Once done, remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the wedges cool for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Step 9

Serve immediately with ketchup, ranch dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
