Ingredients

  • 6 pieces Marshmallow bunnies (e.g., Peeps)
  • 12 pieces Mini chocolate Easter eggs
  • 12 pieces Mini pretzel twists
  • 6 pieces Snack-sized chocolate bars (e.g., Milky Way, KitKat, or similar)
  • 1 cup Candy melts or chocolate chips
  • 6 pieces Toothpicks

Directions

Step 1

Melt the candy melts or chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl by heating in 15-second intervals, stirring between each interval until fully melted and smooth.

Step 2

Lay out the snack-sized chocolate bars to act as the 'race car body' on your workspace.

Step 3

Dip the edges of a mini pretzel twist into the melted chocolate and attach one pretzel on each side of the chocolate bar. These will serve as the car’s back wheels.

Step 4

Repeat the process for the front wheels using the remaining pretzel twists.

Step 5

Using a small dab of melted chocolate, 'glue' two mini chocolate eggs to the top of the chocolate bar near the front. These will be the car seats.

Step 6

Take a marshmallow bunny and pierce a toothpick through its bottom to help it sit upright. Place the bunny into one of the chocolate eggs, securing it to the candy bar with a dab of melted chocolate if needed.

Step 7

Allow the chocolate to set for 5-10 minutes, or until all parts of the racer are securely attached. Use the fridge to speed up the process if desired.

Step 8

Repeat the process for the remaining bunnies and chocolate bars until all racers are assembled.

Step 9

Serve and enjoy your festive Easter Bunny Racers!
