Ingredients

  • 450 grams Broccolini
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 medium Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 whole Lemon, juiced and zested
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoons Red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Trim the broccolini by cutting off about 1–2 cm from the tough ends of the stems, and rinse well under cold water. Pat dry.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Avoid letting the garlic brown.
