Ingredients

  • 400 grams Penne pasta
  • 2 pieces Chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

  • 400 grams Canned diced tomatoes

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 5 leaves Fresh basil (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, dice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season them lightly with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are lightly browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
