Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Set aside.

In a medium pot, bring the 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rice, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15-18 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
