Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried sage
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.75 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil or cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried sage, dried thyme, ground black pepper, salt, and maple syrup (if using).

Step 2

Mix the ingredients thoroughly using clean hands or a spoon until the seasoning is well incorporated into the turkey.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions (or more if you prefer smaller patties). Roll each portion into a ball, then gently flatten it into a patty shape about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 4

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil or lightly coat the pan with cooking spray.

Step 5

Place the patties in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.

Step 6

Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are browned and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).

Step 7

Remove the patties from the pan and let them rest for a minute or two before serving.

Step 8

Serve warm with eggs, toast, or your favorite breakfast sides. Patties can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat before serving.
