Ingredients

  • 6 pieces Bread slices
  • 2 medium Potatoes
  • 2 pieces Green chilies
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander leaves
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Besan (chickpea flour)
  • 0.75 cup Water
  • 0.25 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 500 ml Oil for frying

Directions

Step 1

Boil the potatoes until they are soft. Peel and mash them in a mixing bowl.

Finely chop the green chilies and coriander leaves. Peel and grate the ginger.

Add chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, grated ginger, cumin seeds, chaat masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and half a teaspoon of salt to the mashed potatoes. Mix well to create the filling.

Cut each bread slice diagonally to form triangular halves.
