Ingredients

  • 24 pieces Button mushrooms (stems removed)
  • 5 ounces Boursin cheese (garlic and fine herbs flavor)
  • 0.25 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Garlic powder

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 2

Carefully remove the stems from the button mushrooms and clean the caps with a damp paper towel. Do not rinse them under water as mushrooms absorb moisture.

Step 3

Place the mushroom caps, stem-side up, on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly season with salt and black pepper.

Step 4

In a small mixing bowl, combine the Boursin cheese, panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, and a pinch of black pepper. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 5

Using a small spoon, scoop the cheese mixture and stuff each mushroom cap generously. Smooth the tops with the back of the spoon for a clean presentation.

Step 6

Bake the filled mushrooms in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the mushroom caps are tender and the tops are golden brown.

Step 7

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Step 8

Serve warm as an appetizer or a side dish. Enjoy!
