Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry sheets
  • 12 spears asparagus spears
  • 100 grams blue cheese
  • 50 grams cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (for dusting)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Bring a pot of water to a boil, and blanch the asparagus by boiling it for 1-2 minutes until bright green but still slightly crisp. Drain and immediately transfer the asparagus to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. Pat dry with paper towels.
