  • 1 pound Beef flank steak
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch piece Fresh ginger
  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Slice the beef flank steak thinly against the grain for tender pieces.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Whisk until smooth.

Step 3

Add the sliced beef into the sauce, mixing to coat well, and marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Mince the garlic cloves and grate the ginger. Set them aside.

Prepare the broccoli by cutting into bite-sized florets. Slice the red bell pepper into thin strips.
