Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Ribeye steaks
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chili powder

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, paprika, ground black pepper, salt, onion powder, and chili powder. Stir until the brown sugar has dissolved and all ingredients are well mixed.

Step 2

Place the ribeye steaks in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish, and pour the marinade over the steaks. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight to enhance the flavor.

Step 3

Remove the steaks from the fridge about 20 minutes before grilling to allow them to come to room temperature. This ensures even cooking.

Step 4

Preheat your grill to high heat, approximately 450°F to 500°F (232°C to 260°C).

Step 5

Once the grill is hot, lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking. You can do this by dipping a paper towel in oil and using tongs to rub it over the grates.

Step 6

Place the steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a good char forms, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the cooking time for desired doneness: less time for rare, more for medium or well-done.

Step 7

Remove the steaks from the grill and transfer them to a cutting board. Tent them loosely with foil and let them rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Step 8

Slice and serve the steaks hot, paired with your favorite sides such as grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
