Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 0.75 cup Whole milk
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup Chopped nuts (walnuts and/or pistachios)
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon (additional for filling)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease the cups well.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.

In another medium-sized bowl, combine the granulated sugar, melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and fully combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix just until combined. Avoid overmixing, as this will make the muffins dense.
