Ingredients

  • 1 pound Frozen French fries
  • 8 slices Bacon
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions
  • 1 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2

Lay the frozen French fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Step 3

Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through cooking.

Step 4

While fries are baking, cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 10 minutes.

Step 5

Remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

Step 6

Shred the cheddar cheese if not already shredded, and finely chop the green onions.

Step 7

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and reduce the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C).

Step 8

Sprinkle the baked fries evenly with the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.

Step 9

Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted.

Step 10

Remove from the oven and add chopped green onions, a sprinkle of salt, and black pepper on top.

Step 11

Serve immediately with ranch dressing on the side.
